The Government Companies Authority (GCA) oversees over 62 companies that employ over 60K employees, with assets worth over 178 Billion Shekels. The government held companies are some of the largest companies in the Israeli economy and they operate in diverse areas that range from infrastructure to public service.
The GCA aims to help government held companies in increasing efficiency, delivering better service and improving financial and economic performance. As part of this goal, the GCA encourages government held companies to integrate innovation and adopt new technologies into their operations, in order to improve their services and economic performance.
